When we first came to Bulgaria almost eight years ago, we knew very little about this country. We travelled around and ended up in the Strandja Mountains in the South East of Bulgaria. Hypnotised by Strandja’s beautiful nature, stunning wildlife, and quiet rural villages, we instantly knew that one day we wanted to live here. We decided to follow our dream and now, five years later, we live in Strandja Nature Park.

We want to put Strandja on the map and bring much-needed income to the area and to help gather more support for its conservation. To us it is very important to attract the right kind of attention to Strandja and to keep it the very special place it is today.
